Finally Mobile Number Portability has arrived in India now one can migrate from one Mobile network to another with a minimum nominal fee of Rs 19 per port fixed by the telecom regulator (TRAI) ,the application is available with operator to whom you want to shift to.From Nov 1 this facility will be available with Haryana state later the service is expected to be rolled out in the rest of the circles by Dec 2010.
Once a subscriber migrates to another operator, one cannot port his number again for another three months period.Is this really going to help telecom subscribers we have to wait and watch...
