e-ticket is which you buy ticket online and take your own print out of travel ticket.A passenger booked on an e-ticket will have the choice of carrying any of the five original ID cards - voter identity card , passport , PAN card , a driving licence or photo identity cards issued by central or state Government.If you fail to carry any one of the above said ID proof the passenger is treated as travelling without ticket and penalised accordingly.
i-ticket is booked online and the tickets are delivered to your address with in 3 working days from booking , it is better to plan your travel little earlier in case of i-ticket because it takes a little time to reach you. One more advantage of i-ticket is you don't have to carry any ID proofs during the time of journey....
